Privacy Policy

This document explains what information about you the NIKAH BOOK service
processes, why, and how you can manage it.
Who processes the data
The operator is the owner of NIKAH BOOK. Enquiries are accepted through
"Write to the administrator" in the bot.
What data
Data you provide: profile details — age, place of residence,
appearance, marital status, education and occupation, religious practice,
text about yourself and what you look for in a spouse, photographs, and
contact details.
Data we receive automatically: your Telegram identifier or e-mail address,
information about your browser, time of last sign-in, the source you came
from.
Data generated through your use of the service: interest shown and received, messages within the
service, support enquiries, payment records.
Why

We do not sell your data and do not pass it on for others' advertising.
What other members see
Open: your profile number and what you stated, except your contact details.
The profile is published in the service channels and is searchable.
Hidden: your contact details. They are visible to the administration and
become available to the other side only by mutual agreement.
Photographs: access depends on the setting you chose when filling in
the profile. You can see the number of views in your own profile.
Never shown: Telegram identifier, e-mail address, browser and device
information.
Administration access
Authorised administrators have access to profiles, contacts and messages —
for moderation, handling complaints and preventing fraud. Every access by an administrator
to a conversation is logged.
Plainly: there is no complete privacy of messages within the service.
Passing data to others
Only as far as the service requires: Telegram as the platform, the hosting
provider, web statistics services in anonymised form, and on a well-founded
request from authorised bodies.
Storage
Data is held on a server in the Netherlands for as long as you use the
service. After a profile is deleted it stops being shown, is removed from
the channels and its photographs are deleted.
Records of accruals and payments, the administrator access log and the
complaints log are kept longer, to resolve possible disputes.
Your rights
- change or hide your profile at any time
- delete your profile yourself, without contacting support
- find out what information about you is held
- withdraw consent by deleting your profile and ceasing use
- end sessions on other devices
Enquiries are handled within a few days.
Children
The service is for persons over 18 only. We do not knowingly collect data
about minors; if you find such a profile, it will be deleted.
Web statistics
The site uses anonymised visit statistics services (Google Analytics,
LiveInternet). They receive information about pages visited, the source of
the visit, the browser and approximate location, but have no access to your
profile or messages.
They can be disabled in your browser.
Security
Access to the database is restricted, passwords are stored using one-way
cryptographic hashes, photographs have no public addresses, and the
connection to the site is encrypted.
Absolute protection does not exist. Do not post anything whose disclosure
would harm you.
Changes
This policy may change; the current version is always at this address.
We notify members of material changes.
